Bill Tuiloma has been called into the New Zealand squad for the upcoming international window. The 31-year-old defender returns after an injury to Nando Pijnaker opened the door for his recall.
Tuiloma last played for the All Whites in 2023 but was not selected for the FIFA Men's World Cup squad later that year. He has earned 45 caps since his debut in 2013.

The team, coached by Chris Greenacre, is preparing for a busy schedule. They face Palestine on Thursday, September 24 in Chongqing, China, followed by a match against China PR on Monday, September 28. The squad then travels to Japan for the Kirin Cup 2026, playing Panama on October 1 and either Ecuador or Japan in a third-place playoff or final on October 5.
This call-up comes as New Zealand seeks to improve its form. The team currently sits fourth in its World Cup qualifying group with just one point from three matches. Their recent results include a heavy 5-1 defeat to Belgium and a 2-2 draw with Iran.
Tuiloma's experience will be needed as the All Whites look to build momentum ahead of their next competitive qualifier away to Turkmenistan on September 24.
